Generally Accepted Accrediting Principles (GAAP) Standards and Accreditation
Generally accepted accrediting principles (GAAP) refer to a common set of accepted accreditation principles, standards, and procedures that education institution and their students must follow in their sturdy centres and their education institutions. GAAP is a combination of authoritative standards (set by BQS accreditation council) and the commonly accepted ways of granting credits and awarding accredited degrees. GAAP improves the clarity of the Education institutions reputation and quality assurance.
Accreditation  is a validation statement by an impartial authority that a given institution has been thoroughly investigated and found worthy of approval by BQS accreditation committee.

Steps to accreditation/recognition


Typically, this step will take several months, completed endorsement will be recommended to the Accreditation Council.  First step is a self-study report which must be forwarded to the Accreditation Council international.  Self-study reports must be documented at every  5  years.  After evaluation, and, normally following at least several months of monitoring the authenticity of the institution, the school will be advanced from Provisional Accreditation to the status of full Accreditation/recognition.  Status of Accreditation simply means that your institution is worthy of accreditation under the standards, guidelines, and methods of BQS international GAAP  regulation.

Guidelines checked by committee and Site Visits 
Curricula, Faculty, Facilities and equipments, fiscal and administrative  capacity, students support service, programmes length, tuition and fees, students achievement  and job placement, student loan repayment, students complaints, compliance and regulations.

Accreditation/recognition Criteria
TO offer recognized accreditation under GAAP the institution seeking recognition must meet at least one one of the following 8 criteria listed below before submitting their Institution CV/self report. The GAAP accreditation is aligned to international standards of best practice in transnational higher education sector and surpass the minimum standards set by in-country accreditation bodies or ministries of education.


1.University Must be accredited from their country National government
2.Recognition from Royal charter 
3.Accreditation from Agency recognized by National government
4.Regional accreditation from USA
5.National Accreditation Agency recognized by CHED or us department of education
6.Recognition from Ministry of Education 
7.Autonomous Institution with ISO accreditation ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 29990:2010, BQF/EQF standards
8.Membership of IAU Unesco
